Soundtrack pro is a software generated by Apple so it therefore works alongside Final Cut Pro, we have used soundtrack to make our music and SFX for our thriller opening. Below shows how we have placed our finished edit of our opening onto the soundtrack software, from here we are then able to place certain sounds on individual clips. To place our film onto soundtrack we used the 'export for soundtrack' tool on final cut pro.
Once we put the clips onto soundtrack we could then decide which music/sfx were needed for each clip, below shows the park scene having a sound placed onto it. This picture shows us placing a sound which we used as motif throughout our opening, this sound appears when each girl receives the message from the mystery man. The mountain shaped lines in the purple section show us fading the sound in and out to create our desired, tensional effect.
